Installment payment may be offered on request by contacting the team at hello@grandretourdiaspora.com.
5. Booking and contract formation
Booking is made online via the dedicated form, followed by an exchange with the Seller's team. The contract is formed upon written confirmation of the booking by the Seller and effective payment (full amount or agreed deposit).
6. Payment terms
Payments may be made by bank transfer or any other method accepted by the Seller. Late payment may result in suspension or cancellation of the booking.
7. Cancellation and refund policy
No refund is possible — regardless of the cancellation date or cause.
Upon booking confirmation, Demela Group incurs irrevocable costs with its partners: booking and issuing flights on a privatized Air Côte d'Ivoire flight, hotel room blocks, event venue rental, on-site logistics, etc. These commitments are firm and non-refundable with the relevant providers.
Consequently, any amount paid by the Participant remains definitively due to the Seller, regardless of the reason for cancellation (personal or professional change, visa refusal, unforeseen event, individual force majeure, etc.).
The Seller strongly recommends that the Participant take out, at their own expense, cancellation and travel assistance insurance covering these risks.
Transfer of place
A Participant unable to attend may, subject to prior written agreement from the Seller, transfer their place to a third party, provided the third party fully accepts these TCS and the transfer occurs no later than 30 days before the event starts. A flat administrative transfer fee may apply.
Cancellation by the Seller
In the exceptional case where the Seller is forced to cancel the event for reasons beyond its control (force majeure affecting the event as a whole, authority decision, etc.), it will primarily offer postponement to a later edition. Failing agreement, a refund of amounts paid may be offered, minus non-recoverable costs already committed to providers.
8. Right of withdrawal
Under Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for accommodation, transport, catering or leisure activities provided on a specific date or at specific intervals. The Participant therefore does not benefit from the statutory 14-day period for this service.
9. Participant obligations
- Provide accurate information when booking;
- Hold a valid passport and, where applicable, the visa required for entry into Côte d'Ivoire;
- Be up to date with recommended vaccinations (including yellow fever);
- Comply with the program, organizers' instructions and safety rules;
- Respect local customs.
10. Liability
The Seller undertakes to perform the service with diligence and professionalism. It cannot however be held liable for indirect damages or consequences resulting from force majeure, acts of third parties, or the Participant's failure to meet their own obligations.
11. Personal data
Personal data processing terms are set out in the privacy policy.
12. Applicable law and disputes
These TCS are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will seek an amicable solution. Failing that, and after recourse to the competent consumer mediator where applicable, French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. Acceptance of the TCS
Any booking made on the site constitutes full and complete acceptance of these TCS by the Participant.
